The Vodka Martini is a sleek and sophisticated cocktail made with vodka and dry vermouth, typically stirred or shaken with ice and served in a chilled martini glass. Often garnished with an olive or a lemon twist, this drink is smooth, crisp, and clean in flavor. A modern twist on the classic gin martini, it’s a favorite for those who prefer a more neutral, refined cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 oz Woodborne Spirits Vodka
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist or olives (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Chill the glass: Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.
- Mix the martini: In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker, combine the Woodborne Spirits Vodka and dry vermouth. Add ice and stir (or shake, if you prefer a more aerated martini).
- Stir or shake: Stir the ingredients gently for about 20-30 seconds if you want a smooth martini. If you prefer a shaken martini with more texture, shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
